The informal, friendly street-level bar & cafe welcomes you for a drink after work or a nice cup of coffee on a lazy afternoon. The cafe can seat up to 50 people and it is suitable for art exhibitions, small events and semi-acoustic gigs. There is a charmingly saloonish acoustic piano in the cafe corner - if you suddenly feel like playing a tune, be our guest!

In addition to regular opening hours the cafe is open during all events at Kulttuurikellari. Changes are possible during holidays and summertime.
The elegantmain hall downstairs can seat up to 220 people. It is suitable for concerts, theatrical performances, stand-up and Improv shows, lectures, meetings, film screenings - and even dancing!
There is a stage, a PA system for basic amplification needs, a video projector and an acoustic grand piano (Steinway C-227).
The venue is run by a non-profit association, Savonlinnan Kulttuurikellari ry. It aims at Empowering the local arts community, supporting Collaborative processes within the community - and just creating some positive Buzz in Eastern Finland and Savonlinna.
